Rooms will be held as a block until November 11, 2006 (Group Code "EPA Air Toxic Workshop") at the group rate of $88.00/night (plus tax and a $3.00/night auxiliary fee. Currently the combined sales tax is 13%.)   All reservations must be made prior to 5:00 pm EST on November 11, 2006 and guaranteed with one night's deposit in the form of a credit card. After November 11, the rooms will be released from the block and the group rate will not be honored.

Each attendee will be responsible for any cancellation of their own room at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid penalty (a charge for one night's stay.) Check-in time is 3:00 pm, check-out time is 12:00 pm.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

The Millenium Hotel is only 15 miles from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. An airport shuttle is available for all guests at a discounted rate of $30 per round trip. To access the shuttle from the aiport, go to one of the courtesy phones in the baggage claim area and call The Millennium for a pickup. If you are using a cell phone, call 919-383-8575. The charge will be added to your room bill. At the end of the conference, just ask the Transportation Department at the hotel for a reservation on one of the return shuttles. If you choose to rent a car, easy interstate access connects you with all major business centers, including the Research Triangle Park (RTP), downtown Durham, and Chapel Hill. Hotel is located off of Exit 108 (Morrenne Road) on the 15-501 Bypass. Easily accessible from all major freeways.

If you prefer to take a taxi to the hotel, the typical minimum charge is approximately $30-$35 each way. Taxis are available at RDU on the lower level outside the baggage claim area.

Rental cars are available for pick up at RDU. The rental car counters are located outside the terminal and a courtesy shuttle is offered from outside the baggage claim by the rental car companies. Reservation numbers and websites for several car rental companies are provided below.
